Lynn Ferguson is an actress and writer, probably best known for being the voice of the Scottish chicken, Mac, in the movie Chicken Run.

She studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, only then to immerse herself in the world of stand up, becoming host of London’s Red Rose comedy club during the nineties.

As an actress she has performed in various theatres throughout Britain, taking lead roles at the Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, and at the Royal National Theatre in London, whilst on TV, she’s played returning characters in drama such as ”the Bill” , sitcoms such as BBC1 “Blessed” and a regular in three series of Channel 4’s “No Angels”.

She has written extensively for BBC radio 4:  comedy, drama, horror as well as writing and starring in three series of the sitcom Millport.

Eight of her plays have been produced at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

She won a Fringe first for “Mental

Heart & Sole” won her the stage award for acting excellence and she received a further two nominations for Kindling and Biographies in a bag.

She moved to Los Angeles around 18 months ago and currently writes on her brother Craig’s Late Late Show, and on a ‘punch up and polish’ of a feature film.
